(On the paper the next day):

A motorcycle had crashed into a building because of break failure. 2 people were on it, but only 1 survived.

The truth was that halfway down the road, the guy realized that his breaks broke, but he didn’t want to let the girl know. Instead, he had her say she loved him & felt her hug 1 last time, then had her wear his helmet so that she would live even though it meant that he would die.

I thought that the post title is one of The Fly’s new song, but it is actually their new album. And if it were, I would like to dedicate that song to my beloved Neng Sandra. Ini cerita waktu ikut Les LIA ketika SMU dulu. Sempet teringat salah satu tugas yang diberikan pas kita dah sampai ke level Intermediate IV. Tugas membuat sebuah essai dan mempresentasikannya di kelas. Saat itu pengajarku Ibu Nia (very attractive person she is). Essai yang ku bawa di kelas saat itu bercerita tentang arti dan tipe CINTA. So, this is the translated version I remember.

Cinta, banyak orang yang merasakan bagaimana rasanya sebuah cinta (kadang lebih dari sebuah). Ada yang bilang sebuah pengalaman di mana kita berada di dunia yang memang ditujukan hanya untuk kita, indah. Ada yang bilang, cinta itu menyakitkan. Tapi bagaimana seh asal muasal terbentuknya cinta?

Di sini tidak membahas bagaimana sebuah cinta dapat bertahan dan cinta seperti apakah yang harus dipertahankan serta dijaga. Cinta di sini pun bukan spesifik mengenai cinta dua pasang manusia, bukan cinta cowo ama cowo (kata mereka HOmo), juga bukan cewe dengan cewe (kata mereka lesBI) dan juga bukan cinta antara cowo dan cewe (kata mereka seh HOBI). Tapi lebih ke arah cinta secara plural. Cinta yang hadir di setiap nafas kita.

Jadi, kalo diklasifikasikan berdasarkan pendekatan struktural (bukan klasifikasi Web Semantic loh). Cinta itu bisa dibagi menjadi 4 macam berdasarkan asal muasal terbentuknya. Sangat sederhana, dilist secara acak yaitu:

• Mencintai karena dicintai
• Dicintai karena mencintai
• Mencintai karena membutuhkan
• Membutuhkan karena mencintai

Kalo versi English-nya kurang lebih seperti ini:

• She/he loves because she/he loved
• She/he loved because she/he loves
• She/he loves because she/he needs
• She/he needs because she/he loves

Oke, bisa dikatakan…semua cinta di dunia ini, dapat dikategorikan pada 4 macam cinta di atas. Tapi, hal ini juga tergantung dari sudut pandang dari orang yang mengalami perasaan cinta itu sendiri. Mari kita bahas satu per satu.
