I actually didn’t even know what “no follow” was until I read this post…and your earlier post on “do follow”.

You guys have started a Very interesting movement.

wow, it´s cool so many people are taking part in this do-follow thing. i´m in this blogroll too. but i´m always wondering if there´s another do-follow blogroll besides tricia´s. are there really that few people taking part in this movement?
do you know / does anyone know another do-follow blogroll?
thanks

if you´re in the mood ;)

I am in this blogroll too.. It encourages bloggers to visit other bloggers’ blog and give comments, which is a good thing :)
Anyway, you have been tagged, standalone. Check out the details here

There are some great nonofollow/dofollow plugins for wordpress that automate the whole process.. Linklove being one I can think of from the top of my head… my advice would be to make sure you have Askimet spam catcher installed before you do though.

A big Up for the dofollow movement, and thanks for the walkthrough.

Thanks for the info standalone and adam_y…i’m not sure which wordpress plugin to use, i guess either semiologic or link love. there shouldn’t be too much differnce between the two, right? just remove the nofollow attribute, that’s all i want to do.

Actually with a wordpress blog it is relatively simple. Check out this article on my blog, it explains it in great detail.

http://onemansgoal.com/28/what-is-do-follow/

Sorry for posting the link… I normally try not to divert attention away from a blog, but I just thought that it would be relevant since I am a do follow blogger as well…

Check out the article, it shows all you need to know.

Its ironic that many bloggers talk about this but then they actually use no follow I have seen many blogs leeching off the dofollow movement claiming to be dofollow sites but actually use nofollow, they are worse than the comment spammers in my eyes.

Extreamly informative post. detailing all the technical aspects and backend codes.

However, I am still a believer that the value of the readers and content is ensured by do follow attribute.

Very easily communicated. I guess to keep the itneraction and to give something back to the readers you need to havethe do follow attriubute on your blog/website cause of a reader is giogn through reading your full article and seeing that there are some mistakes or there are some suggestion then what we need is to give hiim/her some credit in retun of his effect as he has taken the initiative…
